Wine Glass Writer - Renee and Jeannine

One of the coolest things I get to do while working HeartStories, is connect with other women who are chasing their dreams and pursuing their passions.

This story begins at the intersection of two of those stories.

When my friends Amy & Ewa took the leap to start Perfectly Gifted Frisco, they invited us over to shop all their new items.  Of course, I walked away with several cool things, but the most interesting was a set of Wine Glass Writers.  I knew in my circle of friends, this would be a big hit.  And I was right.

Each woman I gifted them to, wanted to know where they came  from.

After a quick google search, I learned the origin of the original Wine Glass Writer.  To my delight, it began as the answer to a frustrating problem Jeannine Fradelizio was encountering in Marin County California.  At dinner parties, she found herself constantly collecting half-full, abandoned wine glasses, pouring beautiful Napa wine down the drain, and rewashing glasses during parties. Dumping good wine down the drain was driving her crazy.

So she created the Wine Glass Writer.

It’s made of non-toxic, odorless ink that would write on wine glasses and stay on for the life of a party but wash off easily.  She began her journey six years ago and brought on her daughter Renée Stewart on to run the business two years later.  Their team continues to grow as does their product line.  They now take the gift of a bottle of wine to whole new level with the metallic gift box that hangs on a wine bottle and holds a set of Wine Glass Writer pens (so cool!).

They also works on mirrors, plates and trays, condiment holders, spice and mason jars, bottles and more.

We’d been pondering the idea of dropping our paper name tags for the Girl’s Night Out events and I was really torn.  I wanted to foster deeper connection between our ladies by the visual reminder of their names, but the name tags were a bit of a bugger.  One day, I was sitting in my office and it dawned on me.  We could us those Wine Glass Writers!

And we could use them for more than just names!

We’ve been using Wine Glass Writers at our GNOs in lieu of those pesky name tags as well as a convenient place to write the answer to our “ice breaker” questions at the beginning of the evening.   They’ve been a huge hit because they are fun. . . and connecting!

Winning.

In our post-party pictures, I’ve been tagging and interacting with their brand on social media.   So I thought I’d reach out.  Renée instantly replied asking me to call her.  So we hopped on the phone.  She shared how the concept of the GNO is in line with their company beliefs and values. . . and voilà!

A GNO sponsorship was born.

All because Amy & Ewa pursued their passion.  Jeannine solved a problem and pushed through the difficulties.  And Renée jumped on board with a heart of gold to connect and encourage women through their story.

The choices you make today matter.

Today might not be the day you decide to take a leap to pursue your passions, but you’ll make a decision today that changes tomorrow in some way.  No doubt.

Be thoughtful.

Be kind.

Make the world a better place.

We’re counting on you.

to more love,

Crystal
