As I was finishing up my blog yesterday in my office, Oaks came running in, asking for my phone. He said the sky looked like a sunset (at 6:45 AM) and he needed to get a picture.
He returned and threw open the shutters of my window and started snapping photos there. When he finished, he showed me his creations.
I was struck by the beauty of this one.
I’m not sure what it is, but I just love it. He caught a view, out the window I stare out all day, that I’d never seen before. He got a great angle and beautiful colors.
He created his own art.
He saw something I didn’t see and he captured it. Now I’ll remember that view, and that moment, forever. Because of what he saw.
What do you see?
The way you see the world is very different from the way I see the world. The way you can capture life and color. The way your mind solves problems and finds solutions.
It’s unique to you.
No one else can fill the space you hold. No one else can create your art. No one else can show us what you see.
And we desperately need to see it.
Will you show us?
to more love,
Ohhh that is good! “He caught a view, out the window I stare out all day, that I’d never seen before. He got a great angle and beautiful colors.”
It’s amazing what others can find in our ordinary moments!
