I went to a lunch event yesterday in Fort Worth that was such an encouragement to my heart. It wasn’t advertised as an “encouraging” event. It was an educational luncheon on conscious capitalism.
I learned so many things, but most of all I was reminded (again) that I’m not alone in this entrepreneurial journey and inspired to keep going.
The speaker, Sunny Vanderbeck, said something that I can’t help but share with you. He said, “Everyone who does anything of significance has someone pushing them further than they think they can go. It’s not about arriving at the long-term vision that you’ve seen in the distance. It’s just making it to the next log, and the next log. Then one day, you look back and see that you’ve made it all the way. It’s about the journey.”
