1.  Turn on notifications for a page on Facebook

After you Like the Page, make sure you click the dropdown (below) and select Get Notifications

2. Turn on notifications for a profile on Twitter

After you Follow a Profile, make sure you click the icon below and choose turn on mobile notifications
